This course is designed for rail industry workers who need to renew their ARTC CoP Safeworking competencies. It ensures ongoing compliance with ARTC standards and reinforces safe working practices within the rail corridor.

The ARTC Safeworking Recertifications workshop provides a streamlined yet thorough refresher for individuals holding expired or soon-to-expire ARTC Safeworking qualifications. This course revalidates the knowledge and practical skills required to work safely and effectively within the ARTC rail network.

To be eligible for ARTC NSW Safeworking Recertification, participants must:
  • A valid Category 1 Rail Medical assessment
  • Hold a current ARTC Safeworking Currency Role.
  • Hold the corresponding units of competency as specified in the ARTC Safeworking Matrix.

What you need to provide:
  • Three (3) pieces of evidence showing that you have performed the required duties of the specific role. 
  • Evidence must be: From within the past two (2) years, with at least one (1) piece from within the past six (6) months 
  • Refer to the ARTC CoP Safeworking Evidence Matrix to ensure the evidence you submit meets the required duties and is relevant to your job role(s).

This course is delivered through classroom-based learning and includes knowledge assessments, practical observations, and a review of workplace evidence to ensure participants demonstrate both theoretical understanding and practical industry competence.
