Recertify your welding Skills for the Rail Industry
This recertification course is designed for experienced rail workers who need to renew their competency in the aluminothermic welding process. Participants will refresh their practical skills and technical knowledge to safely and effectively complete rail welding tasks using industry-standard methods and equipment.
The course focuses on validating competency in the aluminothermic welding process while reinforcing compliance with current national safety requirements, work instructions, and rail operator standards.
Certification
Upon successful completion of all required assessments, students will be issued a:
Certificate of Achievement
Weld rail using aluminothermic process
Grind rails
Head and cut materials using oxy-LPG equipment for the rail industry
In addition to the listed units of competency, you will also receive a Certificate of Achievement for the specific aluminothermic welding process completed during training, for example Railtech PLK-CJ or Thermit – SkV – Elite.
